II (Jesse) didn’t set out to start a business. It grew from years of hands-on work and the belief that I could offer homeowners something better. I got my start in restoration, tackling water, fire, and mold jobs when houses were at their worst. I worked my way up from helper to lead tech, tearing out damage and putting homes back together. That experience taught me the importance of doing things right and treating every job with care. From there, I moved into rebuilds and renovations and discovered a real love for turning chaos into calm. Drywall and tile became my specialty, with a focus and rhythm I’ve always enjoyed.

Veronica brings her own depth of experience, having worked in roofing, HVAC, and commercial remodeling. She has an eye for detail, a practical mindset, and a passion for helping people feel confident about the work being done in their homes.

Together, we launched Guillen Contracting to combine our skills and give homeowners a family-owned business they can trust. Whether it’s a full renovation, repairs after damage, or just small fixes around the house, we approach every project with the same respect and care we’d want in our own homes.

Outside of work, Veronica is a proud grandma of 14 who loves tending her garden. I’m a husband and dad of three (soon to be four in October 2025) who enjoys traveling, lifting, skateboarding, painting, and reading comics. Those passions keep us grounded — and we bring that same energy and dedication into our work.

But at the heart of it all, We love what we do: helping folks take care of their homes and treating every project with the same respect we would want in ours.
